While consulting to automotive industry suppliers, Greg helped to meet a critical ISO certification mandate required for continued operations—assisting clients to pass stringent audits and boost profit potential.A believer in metrics-driven improvement, Greg has built buy-in for sweeping changes in operational practices by instituting and capitalizing on measurable standards of performance, allowing companies to quickly gauge progress against goals and justify the ROI of interim leadership. As Executive Vice President and General Manager for Mitchell Plastics, Greg took a flagging operation to an advantageous position as a globally competitive, growing firm using Continuous Improvement techniques and quality management systems. In addition, he led the company’s first licensing agreement in Asia Pacific, facilitating substantial new business and positioning the firm for its later purchase by Ultra Manufacturing. In his previous roles, Greg brought revenue to $55M from $7M at start-up manufacturer Beckers Lay Tech. Later under Perstorp Components he drove the development of a cutting-edge technology center, orchestrated a JV and build out of a greenfield manufacturing facility in Mexico, and teamed to bring in $150M in global opportunities.
